Cracker Jack



Melt:
1 c margarine
Add:
2 c brown sugar
1/2 c corn syrup
1 t salt
Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.  Turn to low heat, boil without stirring 5 minutes.  Remove from heat. 
Add:
1 t vanilla
1/2 t soda
Pour over popped corn.  Put popcorn in pans.  Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 5 minutes. Or for popcorn balls, just form into balls instead of baking.
