Oatmeal Scotchies



1 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup shortening
3/4 Cup sugar
3/4 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups uncooked oats
1 12 oz. pkg. Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels.
Preheat oven to 375 degree.  In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon; set aside.  In large bowl combine shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla; beat until creamy.  Gradually add flour mixture.  Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels.  Drop by level tablespoonsful onto ungreased cookie sheets.   Bake at 375 Degrees for 7-10 minutes.

OATMEAL SCOTCHIE PAN COOKIE
Spread the dough into greased 15 1/2" x 10 1/2" x 1-inch baking pan.  Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes.  Cool completely.  Cut into thirty-five 2 inch squares
