Chocolate Revel Bars


Cream:
1 c margarine
2 c brown sugar

Beat in:
2 eggs
2 t vanilla

Sift together and add to creamed mixture:
2 1/2 c flour
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
3 c oats

Melt in heavy sauce pan:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 T butter or margarine
1/2 t salt

Stir in:
1 c chopped nuts
2 t vanilla

Pat 2/3 of the oat mixture in the bottom of a cookie sheet.  Spread chocolate mixture over dough.  Dot with remaining oat mixture to cover.  Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes.
