Snickers




Butter a bun pan (12" x 17") Make caramels cooking to 228 degrees. Add 2-3 cups chopped peanuts and pour into pan.  Pour caramel over top.  Make the following nougat recipe.

Combine the following in heavy sauce pan:
1 Cup water
2 Cups Corn syrup
3 Cups sugar
Stir and cook to 230 degrees.
Remove from heat and pour over 2 stiffly beaten egg whites.  Beat 1 or 2 minutes until well mixed but set up.  Add 1 cup peanut butter and 1 tsp vanilla, stir until well blended.  Pour over caramels and spread evenly.   Cool.

Cut into desired size and dip in Chocolate.
