Dream Bars


Mix:
1/2 c shortening
1/2 c brown sugar

Add:
1 c flour
Flatten into bottom of uncreased 9x13" pan.  Bake for 10 minutes at 350.

Mix:
2 well beaten eggs
1 c brown sugar
1 t vanilla

Add:
2 T flour
1 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 c shredded coconut
1 c chopped almonds

Pour over crust.  Bake for 25 minutes at 350
