Olympia Cream



Cook:
1/2 c sugar until browned
Then add:
1/2 c hot water and cover
4 cups sugar
1 1/2 c half and half or evaporated milk
2 T corn syrup
2 shakes salt
2 T butter
Cook to 230 (228).  Add vanilla and nuts as it starts to set up.
