Banana Bars




½ cup butter softened
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 ½ cups mashed bananas (about 3)
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
pinch salt

Cream butter and sugar, beat in eggs, bananas, and vanilla, mix dry ingredients together and add; mix. Bake at 350 in jelly-roll pan for 25 minutes or in 13x9 cake pan for 35 minutes.  Cool and frost with cream cheese frosting.

Cream Cheese Frosting
½ cup butter or margarine
8 oz. Cream cheese
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
2 tsp vanilla
Mix until spreading consistency.
