12 oz can tomato puree 1/2 t dried oregano 1/4 t dried basil 1/4 t salt 1/4 t ground black pepper 1/4 t sugar 1/8 t garlic powder 1/8 t onion powder Over medium high heat, bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 35-40 minutes. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
