Cook on high heat stirring
constantly until it gets "paper bag brown":
1/2 lb butter
1 c sugar
2 T water
2 T Karo syrup
Pour over chopped almonds spread
on a cookie sheet and let cool 10 minutes.
Spread 1 c chocolate chips on top.
Let melt and spread.
