Claire's Dinner Rolls




Thoroughly mix:
2 C. flour
1/2 C. sugar - 1 1/4 C. for sweet rolls
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 T. yeast
In small saucepan melt:
1/2 C. margarine
Then add:
1 C. milk
2/3 C. water
Heat to very warm (120 - 130 degrees F.)
Gradually add dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. 
Add:
2 eggs
3/4 Cup flour

Beat at high speed 2 min. scraping bowl occasionally.  Stir in enough additional flour to make a soft dough (about 3 1/4 cup).  Turn out onto a lightly floured board.  Kneed until smooth and elastic.  Cover and let rise for 20 minutes.  Punch down.  Form into desired shape.  Store in refrigerator for 2 to 24 hours.When ready to bake, remove from fridge, let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes  Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 minutes.
